Kyliegh Faith - 7 days new

Friday, September 3rd, 2010

I was so surprised when I opened the door this morning and saw this little one with her full head of hair! I photographed her Mamma over the summer so I have been waiting for her to arrive. This little angel was my best newborn yet. She fell right to sleep and let me move her all around. It really makes a difference when newborns can get to me in the first week or two of their lives.

Tim and Carrie - Married {Mount Vernon Wedding Photographer}

Sunday, August 29th, 2010

What a beautiful ceremony! I think that if I had to do it all again, I would get married in a ceremony like this couple. They had just a very small ceremony with family. Everything was beautiful and the weather was perfect. After the ceremony, we headed to the Kenyon Inn for the reception dinner. Every detail was beautiful!

Emma Grace {Mount Vernon Ohio Newborn Photographer}

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

This little girl was the best newborn that I’ve had in awhile. She slept so well and let me move her all around. She is also a little miracle baby. Mom had pregnancy complications early on and Emma was born 5 weeks early. Mom said that today was actually supposed to be her due date. :) What a beautiful blessing she is!

Okay, I seriously could have photographed this sweetie all day long! She was such a happy, smiley baby. She was very tired by the end and I really wanted to capture a yawn, but she just wouldn’t do it until I looked away. :) I also told her aunt that I was going to be hiring her as my new assistant because she did such a great job getting her to smile.

Baby Girl

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

This little girl had the best dress this morning! Mom said that it was actually hers and her sister’s from when they were little. I loved it and I’m sure that I didn’t have dresses that cute when I was little. :)

Jenna {Mount Vernon Children’s Photographer}

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Miss Jenna made me smile all morning! She was such a happy baby, talking to me and smiling. She did have opinions on certains things, like I was not allowed to hold the toys without giving them to her. :) Miss Jenna gets a extra big sneak peek tonight because her daddy is overseas serving our country and we want him to see his beautiful girl!

Sweet Baby Girl {Mount Vernon Newborn Photographer}

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

What a sweet, pretty baby came to visit me today! Every time I work with a newborn, I’m just amazed all over at how miraculous they are. I enjoy just sitting and watching them as they fall asleep. This little one was nicknamed Blueberry and looked so cute in her blueberry hat! :)

Elijah {Mount Vernon Newborn Photographer}

Sunday, July 11th, 2010

I have to admit that going into this session I was a bit nervous. Elijah is 6 weeks old, which is old for a newborn session. I wasn’t sure if we would get anything or not. Generally newborn sessions are best when done in the first two weeks of baby’s life. That’s when they are move sleepy and bendable. Once you get them to sleep they are much more tolerable of you moving them around. After 2 weeks, babies can be harder to get to sleep and keep them asleep. My fears for today’s session were unfounded. Little Elijah was a perfect baby. He slept so well! He even put up with us trying to put him into things like football helmets and boots. :)

This one is a total out-take that I just had to include because the look on his face just cracks me up! At this point he had had enough of us putting him into things. :)
