This was such a fun session. Mom wanted to do this session as a surprise for her husband who is currently deployed with the military. Both little girls came with cowgirl boots on and they were adorable. Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

This little girl tonight was such a little beauty. Not only was she adorable, but so smart. She knew all of her colors and her ABC’s. I had a blast playing with her tonight! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
These little boys could not be any cuter! They are my sister in law’s nephews, so I’ll claim them as family! They rode for such a long time to come and see me for pictures and they were so well behaved during our session. We had tons of fun and I hope mom is excited to see our results!
And this one is my favorite. They were being muscle men!
This little guy is going to be one in a few short weeks. We had a great time doing his one year portraits today. He had an hour drive to get here and took advantage of that time to get a little nap in. He arrived ready to go and was really so good natured. He got a little practice with a cake and I’m pretty sure he liked it!
I had a great time with these kids today! They have come to be friends during this past year and I was really looking forward to their session. The little boy is just all boy and was telling me all about trucks and tractors. He also was a great little poser. He just made me laugh! It was also fun to watch these two together. You can tell that they have a great brother/sister relationship. As soon as I put them beside each other they were giggling and wrestling!

I was very glad to be able to take the dance pictures for The Spotlight dance studio this weekend. I love seeing all of the kids dressed up in their recital costumes. Here are a few of the beautiful pictures from our first night of pictures.
If you haven’t noticed, I have had a several sessions lately with 2 and 3 year old boys. None of them have been too excited about getting their pictures taken. We just play and do the best we can to get some pictures. This little boy was no different. He loved to help me set up the backgrounds, but did not want to have anything to do with being in front of the camera. I might just have another little photographer on my hands the way he was moving backgrounds and taking pictures of his mom and dad. :) I actually fell in love with some of these images, because I think they captured different aspects of his personality.
I made a new friend today. This little boy and his sister came for pictures today. He played ball with me, helped me change sets, and took a few pictures himself. I told him he was my best 3 year old in a long time. His sister was a cutie as well. She was full of smiles and was so content. What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning.
Little Z is going to be one soon. He is walking and was so interested in everything around him. This little guy has the most beautiful eyes. Have a happy birthday, Little Z!
Little J. came in for his two year old pictures today. He was not real sure of me at first, so he held on to his Wubbzy. He finally put down his Wubbzy and I think we got some great pictures of him and his family.
