This little girl was a beauty. She arrived so sleepy and we got some great shots right away. Then we woke her up to try and get some awake shots and then waited for her to go back to sleep. She would almost be asleep and those little eyes would pop back open. I loved just sitting and watching her expressions as she was falling asleep. I even caught a smile or two.
That’s what this little one was supposed to be this afternoon. 
Little Miss R. is 5 weeks old and mom wanted some sleeping pictures of her. We worked hard to get her to sleep and she slept for about 15 minutes and then was wide awake! We did get a few sleeping ones, though. Miss R. was such a sweet baby. She was talking and cooing to me the whole time I was photographing. I had the honor of doing newborn portraits for a good friend’s baby today. It was such a blessing for me to be able to do this and to spend time with this precious little girl. She is a beauty!
I got to go and visit my new niece again today. I did her first photo session and had a blast! I swear I could photograph newborns all day. They are just so sweet. I came home and was only going to edit my absolute favorites and ended up editing about 25 of them. Here are just a few.
