Annalise

Friday, April 24th, 2009

My sweet niece came tonight for a session since she is now 3 months old. She is such a sweet little girl and was a trooper as we tried all kinds of different things with her. Here are just a couple of the ones I’ve edited tonight.

Engagement Session

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

I had fun working with this couple tonight. We had originally planned an outdoor shoot, but the weather didn’t cooperate. We did manage to get a few in my backyard before another round of rain hit and then finished the rest in studio. I really enjoyed working with these two and I’m looking forward to their wedding in a few months.

A beautiful night for a hike

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

It’s been awhile since I have blogged some personal photos. Yesterday my oldest two went to Grandma and Grandpa’s for a week. It has been so different with only two kids in the house. It was a gorgeous day yesterday so we went out for an evening hike. Of course I took my camera along with me. The younger two were so funny because they kept stopping and posing and saying, “Mommy take a pish-ure (picture) of me.” They did so well, but you can tell a difference from the Chelsey who started the hike and the Chelsey at the end of the hike.

Baby Day Continued

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

And here is my second baby session of the day. This little one was just so precious. She is going to be a heart breaker when she grows up with those big blue eyes. I loved the picture of her and her daddy. I can just imagine if she is anything like my little girls she will have her daddy wrapped around her little finger!

Baby Day

Saturday, April 18th, 2009

I had two baby sessions today and I was in heaven. My first was this 6 month cutie. He was so laid back and very interested in my camera. He also just let me hold him and would giggle for me. This is also one of my favorite ages to photograph. They are so aware, but they can sit up and for the most part can’t get away from you. :)

Happy Birthday G!

Saturday, April 11th, 2009

I have so enjoyed watching G. grow this past year. Today we celebrated his first birthday with a photo session. He came for his first session at three months and then returned at 6 and 9 months. It is only fitting that we celebrated with a smash the cake session today.

Boys will be boys

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

If you haven’t noticed, I have had a several sessions lately with 2 and 3 year old boys.  None of them have been too excited about getting their pictures taken.  We just play and do the best we can to get some pictures.  This little boy was no different.  He loved to help me set up the backgrounds, but did not want to have anything to do with being in front of the camera.  I might just have another little photographer on my hands the way he was moving backgrounds and taking pictures of his mom and dad.  :)  I actually fell in love with some of these images, because I think they captured different aspects of his personality.
