Little D. came for his 6 month portraits today. I had the honor of photographing D. as a newborn and it was so fun to see how much he has grown! He was such a good baby and had all of those adorable baby rolls! He was also amazing me with his strength! I put him on his belly for some pictures and he kept pushing up to a push up position. Then he would just stay there! Watch out mom and dad, he’s going to be on the move before you know it!
I have been wanting to do a display of canvases in my hallway upstairs. We have an open loft type hallway upstairs and there are four wall spaces, which I thought would be great for my four kids. I just had no idea what I wanted to put there, until last night. Ken was pitching balls to Bryce and Kayley and the younger two just kept getting too close to the bat. The sun was setting and the light was so pretty on my front porch, so I asked if they wanted to do a couple of pictures with mommy. These were taken in our front foyer and I’m pretty sure this is what I’m going to do for my upstairs hall. Now I just need to decide and then try to get a couple of good ones of Kayley and Bryce to go with them.
I had one of the best sessions tonight! The session was a gift to mom from her three daughters. It was a large family session on the family farm. This family was great! They were wonderful to work with and game for just about anything. They also had this really cool old rusty car that I was very excited about. Evidently the broken down car has been a long standing “discussion” between husband and wife so I thought it would be fun to include it in some pictures. 
I was very glad to be able to take the dance pictures for The Spotlight dance studio this weekend. I love seeing all of the kids dressed up in their recital costumes. Here are a few of the beautiful pictures from our first night of pictures.
