I had so much fun with this little one today. I had the honor of photographing her as a newborn last year and it was so fun to see how much she has grown. She looks so much like she did as a newborn, but her little personality is shining through! Happy Birthday, Miss L!
What a beautiful senior! I had fun with Ronni tonight and I don’t think she had any idea that I would ask her to climb or sit so many strange places. We got a ton of variety in her session and I hope she is pleased.
It was such a pleasure to meet this family tonight! The kids were so fun and super well behaved! I hope you have a wonderful 4th of July celebration this weekend!
What a sweet little boy! I was a little nervous when mom called to set up a session and said that Ethan was three weeks old. Newborn sessions are typically best the first two weeks because the baby is still in that very sleepy stage. After two weeks they start to become more alert and wake more easily. This little one slept like a champ for me. We filled him up with milk and he was out!
Ahhhh, Jackson was such a sweetie and brought back memories of when my Bryce was a baby. Jackson was also a big 9lb boy and had a whole head of hair that stuck up! Thank you for sharing your special little guy with me today. Treasure each moment because before long he will be 7 years old and telling that he wants a new big kid nickname. 
And I had to add one of Bryce when he was the same age. I do think our photography has gotten a bit better in the last 7 years.
Most moms of boys ages 1 to 4 know that boys that age do not rank pictures as their favorite activity. It is very normal for them to spend more time exploring my studio than actually being ready for a picture. This little guy actually found my dog’s water dish to be much more entertaining than my camera. I decided to go with him and followed him around a bit instead of staying in the studio the whole time, but I didn’t get a picture with the water dish.
What a beautiful day for a wedding! And Esther is a girl after my own heart for several reasons.
1. First of all, she met her wonderful husband in church. I had a pastor growing up who often said that the best place to find a good boy was in church.
2. She was also willing to endure 90 degree heat and walk all for the perfect picture location!
3. She knows the value of comfy shoes!
4. Cheesecake! Need I say more?
5. She flew off into the sunset with her groom!

Saturday night was a beautiful night for a wedding. A little humid, but the rain held off and the ceremony was beautiful. My favorite part of the evening was during the first dance, the bride and groom broke into karoke to “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights”. How fun! I hope you two are enjoying your honeymoon!
I am so glad that we got this session in. We rescheduled last week because of the rain and they traveled an hour for the session. Little Blake didn’t mind the drizzle and mom and dad were such good sports sitting in the train in the rain while he “drove” the train.
Three boys! I love the energy, playfulness, and orneriness of boys. Their eyes sparkle with mischievousness when they smile. I think it’s wonderful that these three little boys get to grow up together. They will be best friends and adventure seekers together. In a blink of an eye they will be grown, but they will have these pictures to look back on. I love the classic feel of these images. They will never go out of style.
