to capture a memory. That was my theme for this shoot this evening. I had such a nice family come to the studio. Mom said that she had been putting off pictures because she knew that it was going to be difficult. She has a very active two year old and five year old. The two year old (like many two year old boys) wanted to do his own thing so I knew that I needed to be on my toes and ready because my windows of opportunity would be very short. This first picture is somewhat of a miracle. Little brother was jumping off a stool and then climbing back up over and over. I asked big brother to give him a hug and for one split second they both looked my way! BINGO! I know that having professional pictures taken can seem like a chore, but I really desire to make the experience a pleasant one – both for the kids and the parents. It may sound cliche, but they don’t stay small for very long and it’s so important to capture their growth along the way. I hope that this family enjoyed the session as much as I did! 🙂
